The Challenge

Blackswan needed a flexible, rules-driven platform to automate complex risk calculations and business decisions. The existing manual processes were slow, error-prone, and couldn’t scale with growing regulatory requirements. They needed a system where business analysts could define and modify rules without developer intervention.

Our Approach

Daiviksoft designed and built a modular rules execution platform powered by JBoss Drools. The system consists of multiple interconnected services — a data mapper for ingesting external data sources, a data model layer for structured risk entities, a Drools-based rules engine for executing business logic, and a REST API layer exposing rule evaluation as a service. The architecture allows business teams to update risk rules independently of the application code.
