The Challenge
Digitaid needed a comprehensive order management platform to synchronize with the Jet.com marketplace API. The system had to handle the full order lifecycle — from product listing and inventory management to order fulfillment, shipment tracking, returns, and refund processing — while supporting multiple merchants and calculating marketplace fees and commissions.
Our Approach
Daiviksoft built a Java-based order management platform with Hibernate ORM, featuring 37+ database tables for complex merchant-product-order relationships. The system integrates with the Jet.com API for real-time marketplace synchronization, manages SKU inventory with product attributes, tracks shipments across carriers, and handles returns and refunds with detailed reason codes. A fee adjustment engine calculates commissions and marketplace charges.
